海洋公園保育嘉年華圓滿結束！

海洋公園保育聯盟自 2023 年成立，並喺今年年初啟動「海馬同學會」，短短一個學年已成功招募超過200 間中小學！ 喺上星期六（7 月 6 日）舉行咗頒獎典禮暨海洋公園保育嘉年華，邀請到教育局局長蔡若蓮博士、海洋公園公司主席龐建貽先生、海洋公園公司行政總裁黃嗣輝先生同埋近1000名師生參與。

今次嘉年華設有由學生設計嘅保育遊戲攤位，同埋學生高峰會，推廣「逆瀕行動」 @oceanparkmissionr 三大願景，包括：拯救物種及棲息地、低碳生活及走塑挑戰，「海馬同學會」成員亦喺台上分享呢個學年嘅保育工作重點，邀請公眾分享成果，喺日常生活中反思同作出改變！

「海馬同學會」為同學們提供一系列的教育活動，致力豐富其對保育嘅知識同視野，今年仲增添咗 3500 名師生，加入成為「海馬同學會」嘅成員！ 每位「海馬同學會」成員將獲得 2024 至 2025 學年海洋公園學習通行證、精美紀念品，仲有由海洋公園提供嘅資源同一連串精彩活動，一齊發掘創新保育方案同增進生態及保育嘅知識！我哋喺未來，將會團結更多師生，推動本地生態保育！

Ocean Park Conservation Carnival a Resounding Success!

Established in 2023, the Ocean Park Conservation Alliance launched the Seahorse Rangers early this year. In just one academic year, we have recruited over 200 schools to join! On July 6, 2024, the Ocean Park Conservation Carnival cum Ocean Park Conservation Alliance Award Ceremony 2024 was successfully held, the event invited Dr Choi Yuk Lin, Secretary for Education of the HKSAR Government, Mr. Paulo Pong, Chairman of Ocean Park Corporation, Mr. Ivan Wong, Chief Executive Ocean Park Corporation and nearly 1,000 participants.

The carnival featured student-designed conservation game booths and a student summit promoting Mission R’s goals: saving species, low-carbon living, and plastic reduction. Seahorse Rangers members shared their conservation work and invited the public to reflect and take action in their daily lives.

The Seahorse Ranger provides educational activities to enrich students’ knowledge and awareness. They have grown to over 3,500 members! Each member receives an Ocean Park Learning Pass, souvenirs, and access to resources and events to explore conservation solutions. We would engage more teachers and students for local eco-conservation in the future!
